Upgrade from TKFlex for DOS

Unfortunately, there are several steps to convert the information in TKFlex for DOS into a format that TKFlex for Windows can import.

1.

Install TKFlex for Windows.

Run the Export TKFlex for DOS data program. This program assumes that TKFlex for DOS is installed on the same computer as TKFlex for Windows. It further assumes that it is installed on the same hard drive in the subdirectory \TKFLEX. To run this program:

Go to your Start menu.

Select Run from the menu.

Click on the Browse button.

Select My Computer

·

Select the correct drive (usually C:)

·

Select the folder Program Files

·

Select the folder TKDatabase Solutions

·

Select the folder TKFlex Church Accounting

·

Select the program file AFLEXDOS.BAT This should then run three export programs in TKFlex for DOS

When the batch file is complete, you may have to hit the key combination Ctrl-C to close the "MS-DOS Window". There will be a prompt at the bottom of the screen as displayed below:

Run the Import TKFlex for DOS data program.
